Have you ever not wanted to do something because, by doing it, you closed a door on something else? That's how I feel at the moment. I kinda didn't want to post anything because the silly, irrational part of me thinks that I'll somehow jinx efx2, and it will never come back. I hope it does...I hope that E can get in touch with Keith...I hope, but I won't hold my breath.
I haven't really done much over on Vox except to change the style and add an old shoutbox. I think it's the same one from my here, but I'm not sure. I kinda like the concept of neighborhoods and groups over there but haven't really checked out the features at this blog. I'll be doing that in the next couple of days.
I was just worried that everyone would scatter and it seems that half of the people I was subscribed to are here and the other half over on Vox. I guess I'll just have to adjust...

Stuff...
So...I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I'm on the prowl for a job to get me through the fall term and into the next year when grad school starts. On top of that, I'm getting my application package together so that I can get into school...the fun never ends.
I've got to register for a test called the Praxis II. It's supposed to test my knowledge in my chosen teaching field. I hope to hell I pass. Meh, I usually do well on those standardized tests. Also, on the job front, I had applied at a local assisted living facility but they don't have anything at the moment. My roommate works there and, when he went in, she asked him if I'd be interested in a maintenance supervisor position that pays considerably more than the position I was seeking. It would entail a commute of an hour or so, but, apparently, the pay would be worth it. I'll be seeing the boss-lady-in-charge tomorrow. Wish me luck. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

New home?
I don't know what's going on with my old blogging community, but I thought I'd start a new one over here...just in case. More to follow...
